Magic In Martha’s Vineyard

The ladies enjoying South Beach at Edgartown in Martha’s Vineyard

This is our second year at Martha’s Vineyard for our ladies only vacation. These fabulous women define what sexy and vibrant look like after 50. We had a great time sharing laughter, stories, dreams, and advice during our time together. I’ve often wondered how it is that people could go to the same vacation spot year after year, but there’s something magical about Martha’s Vineyard. Maybe it’s the small town feel, or the friendliness of the islanders. Perhaps it’s the way the African-American population retains its strong sense of history or the tradition of families meeting each year to enjoy sun, sand, and surf. Or maybe it’s the fact that you will not find one Starbucks or McDonalds on the island because everything is locally owned. Whatever the reason, one thing I know for sure is that this magical place has captured my heart.
