This was the most perfect Memorial Day weekend that I can remember in a very long time. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and the hubby and I did our best to enjoy every minute of it. After a long brutal winter, I’m looking forward to the lazy days of summer . . . During this past weekend we took an opportunity to explore our hometown of Baltimore. The changes that have taken place since I moved from Baltimore over 25 years ago are really unbelievable and the city has an energy that it previously lacked. I’m trying to make plans to stay at the Four Seasons Hotel that’s now located right in the heart of the East Harbor, it’s absolutely stunning! We also spent some time exploring a regional park in the county where we now live and were pleasantly surprised at the activities that were available. A picnic over the summer and canoeing on the lake are definitely in the plans. We closed out the weekend with hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill and topped it off with ice cream cones from our favorite local parlor. Aaaaah bliss . . .
